Dale Percival the coordinator with York Parks and Rec. handles issues within the parks and rec department very poorly, and does not know how to communicate with anyone clearly or respectfully. After many years and multiple children of mine participating in programs within the rec I am absolutely disgusted at how my daughter's recent situation was handled. I grew up here in York and this place has has not been productive to tha kids. When I was kid we use to go all tha time bc certain people was running it. Tha kids in York already dont have anything to do. Maybe they up graded this place and was open on Saturdays kids wouldn't be in tha streets. It's way past due for an upgrade of this place. But right now they should be open every Saturday to give tha kids a place to go shoot basketball. It's actually sad... Went to a friend's Graduation at the Rec Center. I don't know what it cost to rent but I'll check next time I need a place.
