I was a member here for the year I lived in York and had a great experience. Personal training with Danny helped me to get in the best shape I’ve ever been in, and I’m now a lot more confident in the gym on my own.

Brilliant independent gym, 2 minutes from the Premier Inn hotel (which was how we found it, our hotel room overlooked the gym) less than £10 pay as you go! Staff were really helpful and friendly Loads of great equipment including log press and had pictures of the building been built which was something great to see

I’ve been a member at Swift for years (just after lockdown) and I go several times a week, I mainly use it during school run times. It’s always clean, quiet, and never overcrowded. The staff are lovely and welcoming, and it has a real family-run feel. Everyone who uses the gym is friendly too, which makes it such a comfortable place to train. Overall, a really nice, friendly, family-run gym that I’d highly recommend.

I can't reccomend this gym enough if your in York! The toilets/showers and changing rooms are noticeably super clean and fresh, Lots of equipment and a nice atmosphere in the training areas Staff are really nice friendly and approachable

Clean, friendly and perfect for a student, it’s spacious and quiet which is exactly what I needed. The staff are lovely and I’ll continue to support family owned businesses!
