Sooooooooo, and I'm just spitballing here, maybe someone should oh I don't know, update Google maps to show that this is location is temporarily closed. Geez!
The office is still closed. Sign now states that it is under construction. Please send notices out with the current tax bill as this would save a lot of people time!
I suggest the treasurer’s office send out a notice with their bills in the mail stating where to pay. This is the second time I’ve gone to the original location in the past couple months only to find that the HVAC system is still out and I have to drive to the City of York to pay. It’s a waste of time and gas for a whole lot of people. On the other hand, I met NO line and the person helping me was swift and kind.
Currently not accepting in person payments at this location. Having this marked on google would be helpful. Drove 30 minutes only to not be able to pay. Have to wait for another day to drive the hour to the york, SC office. If I had known this was closed, I would have planned differently.
