Since the update the e-recordings have taken forever and are being denied over errors on the counties end. Taking two weeks to reject for no reason then just to keep doing it. Spoke with someone in the office and "It takes time to learn a new system" isn't really an explanation, then she tried to claim recordings weren't taking longer - even though I can see see the dates I'm submitting and being rejected. TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE ON YOUR SYSTEM OR FIND NEW PEOPLE.

We enjoy interacting with the staff at the Recorder of Deeds office. They've always had the answers to our questions and provide good service under busy conditions. We appreciate the York County Recorder of Deeds staff!

York County deserves better than the 2 people I spoke to. Melissa Christine was very short, very snarky and disrespectful. Just what you would expect from a career government employee. I asked to be transferred to Laura Shue and her customer service attitude was worse. She laughed at my questions and continued the disrespect that her employee showed. Don't vote for Laura Shue. York County can do better! I would put 0 stars if I could.
