If I could give zero stars, I would. The woman who answers the phone is very rude. I called on a Friday and scheduled a pick up that following Monday. They never arrived so I called later that day and the woman accused me of not scheduling the appointment when I definitely did. During that same conversation,I asked for a pickup,she said she scheduled it...never arrived.
I’m writing this with the upmost disgust. I pray to almighty GOD no Tax Dollars are allocated to this specific department because the individuals who work here are shameful individuals. My Grandmother relied on this System due to her situation and desperately needed transportation. We’ve always tried to utilize this System and sometimes they’d show up, sometimes they wouldn’t… leaving my Grandmother in a rather unfortunate situation. I just moved to Rock Hill recently and have no family or friends that I could rely on yet. I had surgery scheduled that required transportation to and home after it and it could not be by Uber Lyft or normal taxi. YCCOA and their transportation director Crystal Maiz understood my predicament, and set up transportation and pickup times immediately, it left me with such a comfortable and reliable feeling that there are agencies like YCCOA to help. My mother in law called a set up an appt for a ride. Was told that they would be there to get her. Day of her doctors appt they never showed up and we had to find someone to get her there. I called them myself and the lady I spoke with was stammering giving all kinds of excuses and said that she had tried to call her but she didn't answer. Not the case this lady always answers her phone whether or not she knows the number because of different doctors offices call.
