I don’t recommend this real estate agency. Property manager Warwick was shocking when it comes to maintenance. Ignored multiple emails and text messages. I had to move out because the bathroom was damaged due to regular movement cracking to the tiles, and I wouldn’t have a shower for a week. Warwick decided to take this out of my bond as a break lease fee – even though I was moving out to allow the repairs to go ahead. As all the other reviews, DO NOT USE YORK & CO - This ''property manager'', Warwick, hired our cleaning services to provide the cleaning in the common areas, retaining our payment for a month, and at the end, he just kept the money for himself. With all the reviews he's got, he probably need this more than what I do. Just be careful when deciding who your next property manager will be :) Still waiting for his call back at this stage since MAY 2022
Absolutely shocking management. When items were faulty it took months to get them fixed. When I had moved to a different city a parcel was automatically sent to my previous address at York & co. When I contacted the landlord/property manager about the parcel asking if I could have it picked up I was met with aggression and a terrible attitude along with an aggressive phone call. Reported a broken 4 year old dishwasher in March 2021. The Property Manager failed to act upon my email and he has now attempted to recover costs of $600 for a brand new dishwasher from my bond on leaving York & Co 1 year later. Reading other reviews there seems to be a pattern of not acting upon requested maintenance and attempting to hold onto your bond . Be careful ! Property Manager was a respondent at an RTA hearing and lost his claim. Satisfactory ending
Stayed at this address for 2 years, Warwick the on-site manager requested I use his cleaner for a full bond refund, I did this and he wouldn’t release my bond, I also got locked out one time called and messaged him and he took 3 days to respond. Very frustrating, same issue happened with my neighbour also wasn’t refunded their bond. Awful customer service from a poor manager. The guy won’t respond to messages or calls.
