Worst experience I've ever had at a general practice. I'm a type 1 diabetic and when I arrived I was asked to test my blood sugar levels. After checking they were slightly higher than I'd like but nothing I couldn't manage. After waiting an hour for the doctor he call me in and asked what brought me in today, I had a small list of issues I needed checked like a blood test plus some mental health things etc. He then cut me off and said he thinks it is all due to my blood sugars and I should just go to the hospital, afterwards... read more

Wouldn't see me. not even enough staff to ever see me apparently... was disheartening to think they said no then asked if I was Aboriginal and then said no again (am Aboriginal btw not much but.. I thought we live in Australia where everyone has equal rights and opportunities.
