My experience at Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar in South Orange, NJ started out wonderful, however, the overall time of the service was ridiculously long and the cost was outrageous. I was charged $331.00 for partial highlights, wash, blow dry and a not effective adjustment for my micro-links extensions. A $100 just to tighten the extensions is madness, they wanted to charge me $199.00 and reduced it to $100. I've had my highlights done here by Angelica three times now and I LOVE the results! Each time she has perfectly achieved my desired color and look. Angelica has also given me helpful tips on products and techniques for my hair. The salon itself is spacious and pretty, a great space to sip on some coffee and emerge feeling beautiful. I have naturally thick curly hair as a black woman. I was scared to go to Moxi, thinking it wasn't for my hair type. I had a great experience. I got a blowout and silk press in deep condition, and it felt great. Wes did such a great job, I will 100% be returning. I encourage other black women to go here and request Wes.
