Yondota comes roaring through cedar and pine, where dark water tumbles through bedrock and time. It shoulders past boulders, then breaks into white, throwing mist through the forest and sparks into light. No single great curtain comes dropping below, just rapids and ledges that tumble and flow. Visited in mid September. No mosquitoes. The water flow was slow, but the falls were beautiful. The trail sign directs you to a trail in the woods that takes you to the far lower end of the falls. It looks like the trail was marked at one time, but only a few blue metal and paint blazes remain. It took some exploring, but were able to follow It. The falls starts down stream from the bridge and ends at the signed trail. You climb the rocky shoreline trails to progress along the falls.
