The bat tour is such a fun summer activity! The presentation is excellent, the bats are so cute, and it’s a really great way to connect with the nature and wildlife in our community. My boyfriend and I had such a fun time and can’t wait to come back next year with more friends and family. It made us feel like we were kids again in the best way. Thank you to the Yolo Basin Foundation for their time, dedication, passion, and crucial work!!
Went on a guided tour... it was very informative and so endearing how much these folks care about this special place.
Love the Bat Tours... everyone should experience one
Fabulous place offering wildlife tours to all comers and doing animal rescue work.
The bat talk and tour was lovely. They give a presentation with live bats. The slide show is cute. The caravan tour involves driving your own car (follow the leader) round a short loop of the wildlife area. This part is pretty neat and informative. They give you a walkie talkie for your car so you can listen to the tour guide. It ends with you parked near the bridge and waiting for the sun to set and the bats to wake. When they do, you are in for a show! 🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
