Visited late on a weekday and it was very quiet, and peaceful. The homestead itself is beautiful and well maintained. Unfortunately I was unable to tour the house, they offer guided tours, I was just too late in the day. Will definitely come back to spend the day in the area.
Wish we had made it while more was open but my kids loved the gristmill and the river.
