We took the tour of the two story the state of Tennessee made for the sgt. and his family. Quite grand. The park ranger was very informative.

Alvin York was my grandmother's first cousin. I never met him but for some reason she had his medals, briefly, after he died. I saw them in about 1967. There were several hundred of them from nations all over the world. I hope to visit this place one day.
Very well maintained park. Staff is engaging and knowledgeable! Renovated WWI trench replica is unique and interesting. Park covers multiple buildings and areas near the main house. They even have a running Model T Ford.
