Good morning I always come to this particular Blood Drawing station either me or bring my two young daughters. I went to drop off some urine for my doctor. The front desk lady was very pleasant. Very nice. I went to the back because the front desk receptionist said she will buzz me in and just go in there and just wait until someone finish and I can give the urine. Ridiculous. Still waiting 40 minutes after scheduled time and have watched people come in after me and leave. I asked at desk and of course they are in denial that is what is happening but I know what my eyes tell me. I’ve been tracking. When I first arrived someone else was complaint of the same thing and I thought she was just impatient. Guess I judged wrong. I’ve had blood work in multiple places and never had this bad of an experience.
I rarely, if ever, leave a negative review. I honestly don’t even know where to start. I called the YNHH Blood Drawing Station (2560 Dixwell Ave) to confirm if they had the proper facility for blood collection in toddlers and infants, including a 6-month-old. They told me yes, so I took my children there. For my toddler, they used an adult blood collection needle instead of a butterfly needle, which is more suitable for kids.
