I strongly urge you to reconsider any plans to join the YMCA Shawnessy Swimming Pool facility. The customer service here is incredibly disappointing. The front desk staff displays an ungrateful and dismissive attitude that is simply unacceptable. Any request made by customers is met with indifference or outright refusal, and they even go as far as blaming you for the issues instead of addressing their own shortcomings. Friend got kicked out just for filming herself alone in a room, no warning, nothing and is now banned. YMCA Red Deer would never treat their patrons this way. I have done filmings at other YMCAs no problem. Pls sort this out its not right. And if its policy please tell your patrons before just kicking and banning them for the most ridiculous reason ever.
Kicked my friend out without warning after she filmed herself doing a dance routine in an empty mirror room and said she can't come back. Have to find a new place to exercise now.
I’m very happy with my activities during each week that you can register yourself and just show up to your classes and the teachers are very good and considerate.
