I recently joined this YMCA after relocating to Wilmington, NC. I am so grateful for the Pathways Scholarship. On my first visit, I was given a tour. The young man from the front desk was beneficial and informative. I originally went to swim, continuing my routine from my time in Georgia. I love the pools and hot tub; they help with my arthritis. Also, racquetball and the workout rooms are so fun! The dressing rooms are decked out with sauna, steam room, showers, lockers, etc. Everything is TOP TIER!
The NIR Y has a wide variety of classes no matter your activity level. The facility is clean, the staff is professional and friendly. The instructors are knowledge and capable in leading classes. I also appreciate that instructors don't intimidate students in the classes no matter the skill level.
