Nowhere near enough private showers especially when 2 out of the 3 are out of service
Love the Portage location. Play tennis, pickleball and workout 4-5 times a week. My medicare advantage plan covers the membership fees so I only have to cover the cost of tennis classes.
I had the absolute worst experience of my life at this location today. I have been a member of the ymca for years. I went every single day. Today, my kids were off of school so I went to work out while they were in the daycare. When we were done, we went to the locker room to get changed and go swimming. While we were in the pool, my daughter started complaining about her skin burning from the chlorine. I am really disappointed to learn our local Y is anti immigrant and anti human rights. The Y’s values are more important than that. We are going to cancel our family membership and will look for alternatives in the future.
