Excellent facility. Awesome gym. Great indoor pools, including therapy pool with chair lift to help disabled in and out of water. They team up preimer health and offer great aquatic therapy. Friendly staff. Nice changing room and family changing room they even have soccer field. Only thing I can think of to improve it would be if they had an outdoor pool also.
Front desk staff is not very friendly. I’ve only been a member a week and three times I’ve asked where a class is or what part of the building or if there’s a class going on and every time they tell me “ I don’t know. Do you have the app?” Not everyone is app savvy. When I got my welcome packet, there was a weekly list of classes. I had a frustrating experience at the Springboro YMCA this past Sunday. I brought a colleague with me who intended to purchase a guest pass so we could work out together. We were told by a staff member named Janet that guest passes are not sold on Sundays and that my colleague would not be allowed to enter. Because this didn’t sound right, we contacted another local YMCA branch while still there and were informed that guest passes can, in fact, be sold on Sundays.
