I really love the YMCA and was excited to get my first-ever membership. I had received financial aid and went to the front desk to complete my membership, but my experience with one of the staff members at the counter was very disappointing. When I mentioned my financial aid, he spoke to me in a rude and dismissive tone, questioning whether I even knew what financial aid was.
