It's a much older crowd but great place to workout and swim. They have a LOT of programs for families which is great. Also as of July 24th 2026 they're gym is closed for a 2 week renovation
Im so tired of this place!!! Im a new mom but every time I come they new freaking rules!! No one told us the hours when we signed up. We came at 7am once, kid club not open so I ask for the hours the say to opens at 8am. Ok well then a week later we come to swim about 11am kid pool not open only open from 3:30pm to 6pm. Ok but the next week guess what's open at 11am the kid pool. They are even closing the gym for 2 weeks and not giving any discounts!!! Now im here at 3pm and the kid club is closed!!!! Enjoy belonging to the ymca in LeCanto I take Les mills classes and they offer my favorite “Body Pump” which I take 2 days a week and just love the class and the people are so friendly
Citrus County YMCA is a god send for me. I cannot do any type of cardio due to sacroiliac pain & I cannot swim due to pain in my shoulders; however, the YMCA pool allows me to snorkel in the pool lanes for hours. (Snorkeling does not require arm movement if done correctly.) I lost 4 lbs the first 2 weeks. The handicap features are truly amazing and the staff is really friendly and professional.
