While I understand this is a difficult time, the fact that there are now no accommodations for those members who live in Miami County and swim laps after work is appalling! I am very familiar with the time demands of swim team, having been a veteran of Y swim team, high school swim team, college swim team and a former triathlete. But taking away any opportunity for EVERYONE else to experience and have access to the advertised “unlimited” free lap swim benefit of being a Y member lacks integrity and valuing membership. Do t go to this place if you want to play basketball. Son waited 1.5 hours just to have a group take over court not letting anybody play. Pay your dues and be able to use facility. Not happy with brad Akins
RecommendedIt has something for all ages. Outdoor facilities include sand volleyball, tennis courts and a walking/fitness trail. Besides the standard gym equipment the facility has a large and small basketball courts. Of course it has pools. Low impact and zumba classes, yes! After school program.

RecommendedAnytime I travel to the Lima/Van Wert area, I always stop at this Y. The staff of the facility are ALWAYS very accommodating and pleasant. The facility is immaculate as well. Top shelf hospitality.
