The Jefferson City Area YMCA is awesome! I have been a member of the J.C. YMCA for three years now. They offer excellent classes for children (including swimming, gymnastics, basketball, soccer, etc) The faciltiy is very clean. They recently expanded and remodeled the Knowles facility. I love this place
It called the Y!, not the YMCA now What these people do to children is horrible. Babies are left to scream for hours. You may have noticed that in recent months the Y has dropped the C (Christian) from their adds. This is no mistake as they have slowly taken Christ out of their programs and ethics out of their administration. This is a business, out to make money and linit their services. love this place Compared to the Western Y, Central Y has everything they do except the hassle! The equipment is great (not as much of it but still plenty), the classes are even better than at Western and while the aerobic rooms are smaller, so are the classes. I highly recommend trying Central Y if the lack of customer service at Western irks you like it does me.
!!! Have used many facets of this business, from fitness to childcare. I trust the staff of this childcare with my most precious things, my children. Two of my children have been in this center. The fitness aspect is awesome. Hardly ever crowded, no waiting and small classes for fitness. Would recommend.
Nice city gym The Central YMCA has its own culture. It attracts many young working adults and some college students as well. It is very convenient to Wilmington's many office buildings so there is a big before and after work crowd (more after). There are many cardio machines and I have never had to wait long for a piece of equipment. They have a variety of weights as well as classes and a heated indoor pool that is great for swimming laps. They also have racquetball courts and newly remodeled locker rooms.
feel confident when you leave for work! The Hamilton YMCA Nursery School is a very honorable and dependable business. when it comes to children we all want the very best, especially when they are our children. This is a highly reputable place where your mind can be at ease when you goto work!
