The tour was fun, the building's architectural design played more into it than I thought. It was enjoyable getting to see the photo of Albert Einstein and the book with Carl Sagan signature from checking it out. I now look forward to doing a night tour so that I can look through the telescope. I wish there was a greater emphasis on the math and science that came from this telescope.
A hidden gem of southern Wisconsin. Beautiful grounds, amazing architecture and history. They have big tubes you can look through, that make faraway things appear closer!
The space & spaces tour was life-changing. Ken was an incredible tour guide — you can see how passionate he and the rest of the staff are about the history and future of this observatory. I enthusiastically recommend getting tickets this tour!! We went at 2:30pm on a Saturday with a large 40+ person tour group, but it felt so intimate. Thank you so much for your knowledge and for keeping the observatory lights on. I can’t wait to be back.
