Great Tour, to visit the biggest reflecting telescope ever made and still functional the old fashion way beautiful place stuff in history
Great place to visit. High energy guide. Built in 1895. Wonderful architecture with great stories behind. Doing kids tour today. 50 acres with trails too.
An absolute gem! We visited June 11th and were sad to leave. The tour was amazing, the facility immaculate, the history fascinating, the architecture stunning, the grounds beautiful, and the experience unforgettable. Reservations are required for tours, which is the only way to gain entrance. We were grateful we got in same-day. There are stairs to ascend to visit the telescope and library, but even the main floor alone is amazing. This was by far our favorite part of visiting Lake Geneva!
Went on a tour with my 12 year old on 6/13/26. Jana our tour guide was amazing! Energetic, fun, and included information for everyone, whether the history, science/astrophysics, architecture or fun facts are your thing. The building and grounds are beautiful, and we look forward to coming back for more events.
