Great food, lots of tradtional dishes – Out of all the Vietnamese restaurants in Portland, this is the only surviving one that serves lots of traditional dishes, dishes you could find in Vietnam. (Not all the food in Vietnam is Pho lol). Menu: Extensive. Tons of great dishes, some more exotic than others. Menu isn't your typical Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Rice plate etc. The restaurant has dishes that are very time consuming to cook/prepare thus none of the other restaurants want to make it. Service: Very friendly. We had some Shirley... read more

good food! Karaoke I think the best thing about this place is the karaoke. They have a lively crowd and the place is not overly crowded. The food was good if you like vietnamese food. Check it out!

Best Vietnamese in Town – My boyfriend and I are very centralized and rarely leave our hawthorn area neighborhood, but this restaurant is worth the trip. I have a constant craving for Vietnamese food and have tried many places closer to my close-in SE home but Yen Ha is by far the best.

Very Impressed!!! – We weren't sure what to expect. Being fans of salted pepper squid we strayed from our ususal spot and decided to try Yen Ha. -AND WE ARE GLAD WE DID! Flavor, quality of food, and service was awesome! I will defintely return and recommend this place to everyone I know! Our new favorite spot!

Variety – They have a little bit of everything at Yen Ha. The location is great and the setting is fantastic. If you have no idea if you like Vietnamese food then you will be impressed with Yen Ha.

Yummmmmm.... – Being Vietnamese myself, I've yet to find a place that can beat the authentic food at Yen Ha. I'm a frequent customer at the place and I strongly recommend it. The Mongolian beef rolled in rice paper, fresh vegetables dipped in special sauce is my favorite! They even have a lounge next door, which is a pretty cool place to hang out on the weekends.

Decent, but irritating – A very extensive menu with great prices. Unfortunately, French Style Cubed Beef - a staple on a Vietnamese Chinese menu - is missing. The shrimp/pork appetizer was filling, but a bit too salty. The beef with wine sauce, pork fried rice, Vietnamese eggrolls, and fried fish were all decent. If you like exotic fruits try their yummy jackfruit shake. The eccentric waiter is amusing at first, but his act gets tiresome very fast.
