Had concern about my generator after 20hrs of hydro being out. LED light on Generator was showing half green and half yellow. Called Yemen on a Saturday around 7pm. Got back to me within a few minutes. Told them the issue. Walked me through a couple of checks and all good. My concerns were answered and so was my peace of mind. Thank you so so much.
Called for a quote, waited 5 business days before calling back to give them the benefit of the doubt. The receptionist said it didn't make it to 'the guy' and provided a quick apology. She said I could expect a call back after the weekend. I said sure, then called up another place and the experience was night and day. Yemen didn't make it feel like they wanted my business. I had to work with Yemen while working on the sale of my parents house. They were incredibly helpful and guided me through everything I needed to know and do.
They sent in an apprentice with the electrician, which is fine. But they charged me full price for a guy that's still learning and slowed the job down. $1000 to install two breakers and outlets in an unfinished basement.. Both outlets no more than 20 feet from the breaker box. They billed me $1000 for 45 minutes of work and $250 worth of parts. Travel time is also short since it's a small town. So they really billed me over $300/hr. Total rip off, choose a different company.
