For months I have been getting nonstop phone calls about paying to put my business at the top of the list. I have said I was not interested in paying money to be moved to the top and asked to have a note put on my file to not be contacted anymore. On June 30th, 2026 I got a call again. A warning to fellow small business owners about Yelp advertising I own RMI Works, a contracting business with 55 years behind it. I'm posting this so other small business owners don't get caught the way I did. A Yelp sales rep named Jonathan called me and pitched a deal: a $900 free first-month trial, and if it produced results, I'd continue. Incredibly deceptive. If you think your experience will be different, it won't. The comments below are very accurate about what your experience with Yelp will be like.
After I was promised the first month was totally free and they wouldn't charge me, I was charged $260 at once, and then another $240, all I got from them was 20 calls a day from scammers to my husband and I'm on the phone and 0 customers, I don't recommend it!!!! Scammers
