I really like Dr. Sweet. She’s a great doctor that listens to her patients. The office however, is very frustrating. I had to cancel an appointment today because my newborn has been vomiting for the last 24 hours. I called the office as soon as they opened and apologized but was told I still counted as a no show, even though I have never missed an appointment. Avoid this place! The billing department will have you in collections before you know it. My son had triple insurance (yes one was Tricare). I guess we are going to court over it now because they refused to bill two of the insurance agencies.
I have been a patient at this location for over 13 years. Recently I had to cancel an appointment. I was told that because it wasn't 3 hours ahead of time I would be charged 50.00. I believe it was 2.5 hours prior to my appointment. The person that took my call seemed very excited to tell me that i would be billed 50.00. I have never cancelled an appointment.
