The house itself was great — no issues there. Lovely spot, peaceful surroundings, and we even saw some elk nearby which was a treat. The instructions from the host were clear and everything inside the house was just as expected. However, I do want to highlight the road to the property — it’s something future guests should definitely be aware of. The drive is on a long, unpaved mud road with a lot of deep potholes. My dad owns this place, and he really wants to give everyone a great experience! It is a really private area with forest, hills and mountains all around! My dad is always making sure there is a lot of firewood for guests. He asked me to climb up the giant tree in the forest to put the rope swing back up, which I did... just don't be stupid on it! If you want to be in a completely secluded and wild area then this is the place!
Great place to see the mountains, and it is a very nice place to see elk sometimes, if you are lucky to spot one.
