Yellowlite sold us a complete solar installation back in 2013. Salesguy told us system was warrantied for 25 years. Installer was average, connecting boxes and wiring were exposed to weather. After 5 years one SMA inverter went bad and had to be replaced. Last year (2025) another inverter started showing issues. Yellowlite told us warranty was no longer valid and I would have to pay thousands to get the system fixed. I have not even recouped my initial investment yet! Do not use this company under any circumstance. I understand there aren’t many solar panel companies in Northeast Ohio but this company is awful. They took my panels down so I could get my roof re-done. After my roof was done, it took months to get them back up and they told me it would be a week or two. I also had a terrible time getting ahold of anyone, the amount of texts, calls and emails just to get ahold of someone was around 30-40. YellowLite installed 15 solar panels for our home in November of 2025. Everyone gave me good technical advice and answered all of my questions. The installation team did a very good job installing the panels and the techs were able to get Ohio Edison to come out in December to install a new electric meter. My electric bill was supposed to drop by 49%, but it looks like it's going to be much more that.
