Sunrise cruise, with Adam as our guide, was absolutely brilliant! Adam’s knowledge of Kakadu’s wildlife and fauna, traditional culture and climate impact was impressive and we loved his dry sense of humour. Plenty of birdlife, crocs and a sunrise that brought me to tears. An experience I’ll never forget.

My friend and I took the sunrise cruise and had Scott as our guide. 10/10 experience! The weather started out cool and comfortable at 6.45am (it was already starting to get glaringly hot by 9am) and the morning light along the river was beautiful. But the highlight was the animals - we saw crocodiles up close and more variety of birds than we expected. Scott was a fountain of information with little quips we enjoyed plus there was ample time to take photos and listen to the tour. Would highly recommend to anyone!

📌 Yellow Water (Ngurrungurrudjba), Kakadu National Park ✨ A place where wetlands meet culture, peace meets beauty, and sunsets paint the sky 🎨🌅. We didn’t hop on the famous boat tour 🚤 (maybe next time!), but still soaked up the serenity. People say “watch out for crocs 🐊”… well, either they were shy or on holiday themselves, because we didn’t spot a single one 😂. Whether it’s walking the trails 🚶‍♀️, camping under the stars ⛺, or catching those golden sunrises and sunsets 🌞🌄 – Yellow Water truly feels like stepping... read more
