BEWARE! I have been staying at this establishment for over 20 years. We never had any issues and would even come up in the Fall months. I had booked a room for last weekend with "Jonathan." It required multiple calls but was assured that I had a room and that check-in was after 2:30 pm. When I arrived at the property I was never told that the front buildings were sold. I've stayed at the Monkey for years. The owners are very friendly and usually book your room themselves. I've stayed in all of the houses, and the rooms have been clean and comfortable. There is a little bit of a mothball smell though, which I don't mind. Sometimes if you pay cash, the rooms are even cheaper. You cannot beat the location or the price.
