Have traveled with Yellow Dog in the past and Jake was amazing in putting together a custom designed trip for me. More recently I had a last minute chance to get away and Matt and Sam jumped through hoops to try to find me a venue in Mexico or Belize. I, along with five friends, recently traveled to Montana on a fly fishing excursion planned by Yellow Dog. We could not be more pleased with Jake Wells and his colleagues from Yellow Dog. We fished many different streams, rivers and lakes with our guides, Jared, Colton and Rob. Our guides were not only terrific in locating big fish and lots of them, but they were so knowledgeable about the history and landscape of Montana. 6 of us were looking for a unique fly fishing experience in Montana. Used Yellow Dog a year ago for a trip to the Amazon (which was amazing) and their service was over-the-top. Contacted Jake at Yellow Dog and asked for his advice for the best outing fishing multiple venues - and his response was “if I were going to take a fishing trip to MT, I would go on the Montana Road Trip.” This involved staying in travel trailers that moved every day to a new picturesque location and fishing a new river every day.
