I, along with five friends, recently traveled to Montana on a fly fishing excursion planned by Yellow Dog. We could not be more pleased with Jake Wells and his colleagues from Yellow Dog. We fished many different streams, rivers and lakes with our guides, Jared, Colton and Rob. 6 of us were looking for a unique fly fishing experience in Montana. Used Yellow Dog a year ago for a trip to the Amazon (which was amazing) and their service was over-the-top. Contacted Jake at Yellow Dog and asked for his advice for the best outing fishing multiple venues - and his response was “if I were going to take a fishing trip to MT, I would go on the Montana Road Trip.” This involved staying in travel trailers that moved every day to a new picturesque location and fishing a new river every day. Great place and great service. Really friendly guys that know there stuff.
Fantastic trip. So well organized and smoothly run. Every detail was thought of and taken care of for us. Beyond that, the lodging, food, atmosphere, and music were all off the charts good, and the fishing and non-angling activities were even better! Another phenomenal Yellow Dog trip. These guys are aces every time!
