Honestly, I’m not impressed. I patronized this business when they were in Inman Park, but they seem to have changed quite a bit. We waited an hour for six powdered beignets, which were unfortunately disappointing. The peach iced tea was great, but everything else we came for was sold out. In a situation like this, the courtesy of sending a mass text to customers with reservations/orders or simply updating the website would have saved us a lot of time and frustration. Tiny super cute cafe, stayed busy the entire time we waited. Parking was super easy, food was incredibly. Unfortunately, the wait-time was less than amazing. I believe we waited around upwards of 5 minutes at the counter before a worker eventually came from the back to take our order. OMG!! These beignets are incredible! My wife and I ordered: classic beignets, chicken berbere, and egg and cheese. Everything was fresh and delicious. I got a Purple Rain iced coffee with lavender syrup. Five stars. The dipping sauces were sinful and we came back twice in one weekend. The owner is so kind and friendly. Most def a new family favorite.
Walked in and stood at the counter for 10 mins and no one acknowledged my existence. People behind me ended up leaving to go somewhere else. Eventually someone came up to me and said they’re not taking orders until the next hour because they’re busy and trying to get caught up. It’s understandable that they may be busy, but they could tell customers as they walk in instead of not acknowledging them and hoping they just walk away. Don’t know how the food is, but the customer service is 1 star at best.
