Jan is the best hardwood flooring guy in Winnipeg, without a doubt. His attention to detail and craftsmanship are of the highest quality. He redid 2 bedrooms, an entrance, living room and sunroom in my house. He was able to start when we needed him to, and he stayed right on schedule the entire time. He let us know of his progress along the way and the floors are truly immaculate. Thank you Jan! I will be sure to refer you to anyone who asks. 10/10 would recommend!
We relocated to Winnipeg and worked long-distance with Yawn Flooring to have the floors and main staircase refinished in our new 1907 home. Jan was excellent to work with. He has exceptional knowledge of wood and high standards for his craftsmanship. The process was stress free for us and worth every penny. We arrived yesterday and are blown away - they look spectacular and their appearance dramatically impacts the look, feel and value of the house. Highly recommend!

Jan repaired and refinished hardwood floors in 3 bedrooms and a hallway. The work was done in August 2019. Not a day goes by that I'm not thrilled we got the work done. The floors had been screwed down in places, water damage, cigarette damage; and decades of wear and tear, they were in rough shape. The repair work is perfect and the refinishing looks as good today as it did two years ago. Jan wasn't the cheapest quote, but he was in the ballpark. Do yourself a favour and go for QUALITY! We are glad we did.
