Awesome place for some lap swimming! $5 for a drop in. I love finding places I can swim when I travel for work. The lifeguard was very friendly and helpful. There is tons of equipment you can use (pull buoys, paddles, etc) as well which was a fantastic touch.
The pool at Yavapai College is very good for year round swim regardless of weather outside. In addition to the lap pool there is a shallow warm pool, find it good after swimming laps. The staff here are extremely friendly, and there are also many pool supplies you may need for your workout. One downside I found in the winter the lap pool can be rather cold, as well as with the lockers, which can have a draft from the air handlers. Other than that it is a great place to swim, especially when it's icy outside.
Beautiful pool. Nice small heated pool as well as a lap pool. They've got open swim hours about every day of the week. Great place to go!
Not crowded. $5 entry includes equipment use.
Water is really wonderful with minimal traces of chlorine. Best lap pool in town.
