Professional and compassionate care. Explains diagnosis and all treatment options available, so the patient fully understands and can make the right choice for themselves. Takes as much time as needed to ensure his patient(s) fully understand everything he has explained. Highly recommend.

Dr. Yates has been my oncologist for the past six years. He has been patient, kind, and generous with his time. I never feel rushed or minimized, he listens even when I go off topic. I appreciate his affect and am confident in his ability to diagnose and handle my cancer issues. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a doctor who treats the patient, not the disease.
During my first visit with Dr. Yates, he took the time to listen, but also offered some sound and positive advice/outlook whilst remaining pragmatic. One of the things he did for me that I can never repay him for is pushing me straight away into banking sperm, and because of him, I have a beautiful 2.5 y/o that I might not have been able to have post chemo, radiation, and surgery. He is compassionate, and honest; listens and provides sound advise, not just medical jargon. Also shows he cares.
Dr Yates is very compassionate and cares deeply for his patients. Would highly recommend him.
