Went here today with a nasty cut, door blocked, no note to say use rear entrance. Now waiting to be seen at Southmead A & E; 17.20 and got here about 2.
Can't speak highly enough of the wonderful people here. My husband had fallen off a ladder, badly hurt his shoulder and was in a lot of pain. We were seen really quickly, pain relief was given and his shoulder put back in. Without exception staff were kind, helpful and efficient. Thanks to everyone there.
Visited today with my son who fractured his elbow, the whole visit took less than an hour, staff were attentive and polite. X-ray was completed arm in a sling and we were on our way.
Rubbish. Went to see someone today as I am having severe problems walking. I've had to do my own diagnosis via the internet and it seems like I have inflammatory knee. Shocking thing is that when you review how to treat one of options was to visit acwalkin centre however Yate walkin centre would not even see me as did not result from a specific injury. They simply suggested paracetomal as if I couldn't work that one out for myself....! Ridiculous- they just let people suffer from pain without reviewing/examining any further.... read more
I went to Walk in Centre last Saturday morning after a bad fall at Chipping Sodbury Parrkrun where I badly injured my right arm on the gravel path. Apart from the Receptionists ( where I had to wait about 10 minutes before they noticed me ) everything else was excellent from the Triage to the actual treatment. My nurse, Rachel, was excellent and did a great job of piecing all the ripped skin back into place before bandaging my arm. Thank you NHS.
