I have been a patient of Dr. Polivick (Guzman) for 6 years. I am typically affiliated with Northwestern (Lake Forest Hospital) but I have been very impressed by her personalized approach and additional time that she has spent with me on any of my health concerns. When appropriate, she has referred me to specialists to specifically address concerns from postpartum care to pulmonologists. Dr. Guzman (her name is Dr. Polivick now) cancelled my June appointment after I waited 6 months to get in. NOW-- the next available appointment is in October--4 months from now. This is just unacceptable.
She's always very attentive to my husband and I. I have recommended multiple friends to her and they too say that she is very kind, compassionate, and thorough. My friends have come back to me and told me the same thing about her. She was recommended to me by 2 people who told me she was the same. We LOVE her.
She is careless and rude. She never sent me for a bone scan even though i hadn’t one for years. I ended up with osteoporosis. She never has time to see her patients. She was supposed to call in an rx for me. She had all day and now, its the weekend.
