RESPONSE: I was never advised to go to an emergency vet, I was asked to provide a sample which I had that night but it was not taken. I was told they could extract a sample the next day because it was “too close to closing time” to get out the ultrasound machine and that it would “take too long”. I did not demand anything. I did speak to the vet 2 days later and got a second opinion immediately, I was told that this had been left too long due to your negligence and he was rushed into emergency surgery where he died due to th... read more

We had an excellent experience at Yarra Ranges Animal Hospital and are so grateful for the care they gave our dog, Humphrey. He had become unwell due to a side effect from medication, and our regular clinic was too short staffed to see us that day. We were extremely worried about our pup, but Yarra Ranges Animal Hospital was amazing in fitting us in even though we weren’t regular clients.
