Today I tried to exchange size 10.5 dpns for size 7s. I was told they do not exchange needles just yarn. These were unopened, only purchased a week ago, and I was willing to forego the difference in price. I try to frequent local businesses but this policy is nonsense. Today you lost yarn sales and a customer. Online shopping is less of a hassle.
The ladies at Y and T expressions are always very helpful and welcoming. I've taken quite a few knitting classes and Carol is so nice and patient. Their yarn selection is very nice with everything from affordable to high end options. It's always a treat to go in and browse the selection, you will generally see at least 4 regulars hanging out at the big work table working on a project and chatting away. Very welcoming environment especially for beginners.
I love the almost all the people connected with the shop know your name. I also, like all the personal attention when I want it leave me alone when I just want to browse. I love it that no one makes me feel bad because I don't join the classes or knit alongs. I knit in front of the tube when my husband watches sports and knit when I travel. I absolutely, love all the of yarn that the shop carries.
They helped me pick a yarn for a project and they wound the yarn for me :-)
....the selection of beautiful yarns here is unsurpassed! But, what is yarn without customer service? They have EXCELLENT customer service here. I was able to get all my questions answered with patience and knowledge. I can't recommend this store highly enough. Support your local yarn store....
A wonderful shop with a huge selection of yarn especially from local indie dyers. The best part....that's the wonderful ladies that work and knit here. I felt so welcome with the warm and friendly environment. I can't wait to come back ❤️❤️❤️
