I love my neighborhood and the way it looks. It's peaceful and reminds me of being up north. I absolutely adore my neighbors (I got really lucky because I have heard some horror stories). Sure, some things could improve regarding the HOA, but overall, I love living here.
The association refuses to fix anything or maintain anything. You'd expect at least shoveling and raking, nope. My gutters have been filled and overflowing for over a year. The roads are cracking. The tennis courts are falling apart and they refuse to do anything. So basically I feel like my HOA fee is being stolen and used for absolutely nothing of my benefit. Every request I make is met with hostility and "we will get to it". I shouldnt have to ask for basic services I AM PAYING FOR.
