As someone who comes from the Caribbean, the food is okay but does not remind me of home. For someone who is not familiar with Caribbean cuisine, it would taste delicious. The overall environment was okay and does encourage groups to engage in conversation. The music was definitely not appropriate for young kids.
We loved Yardy! Albacore crudo was perfectly seasoned and so flavorful. It was the star of the night for sure! We also ate (and loved) the cucumber apple salad, rockfish and grits with corn micro greens!!! and the oxtail special! Only point of feedback would be that the oxtail came over a side of rice and beans and the beans tasted heavily of chili powder and raw seasoning.
My husband I went here on an impromptu date night and had the best time! Seriously some of the best food and drinks we have ever had. We sat at the bar and got to chat with both owners for quite some time, which made our experience that much better. I can’t say enough good things about the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the service. Everything was incredible and we can’t wait for our next trip back.
