We were so pleased with a previous room restoration Yankee did for us that we called them again when we needed two new windows. Sounds like a "small" job right? NOPE. This is an antique house. There were lots of surprises - rotted wall and sill, wretched vinyl siding, badly installed gutters. Job included rebuilding part of a wall, reframing and installing windows, insulation, cedar siding, repainting outside, and interior woodwork. Yankee Restorations was referred to me to fix my main bathroom shower as there was a leakage on the shower floor and made the best decision to hire them. Rob was very meticulous on evaluating the problem and on determining the extend of the damage. He did a phenomenal job fixing the shower foor with great attention to detail. I relocated here from a large house to a small house. It was missing something, a view and access to the wooded backyard. After a search for a local contractor I contacted Yankee Restorations and soon heard from Rob. Plans soon progressed from a simple screened porch with an exit to a windowed addition with a pellet stove to make it a four season room. Excellent job all around. Worked with architect to design room. Great communication with builder walked us through every step of the project. The carpenters who did the work were of the highest quality, hard working with a special eye for detail. So glad we went with this company.
