Love Yankee Doodle – I've been going to Yankee Doodle for over 10 years. Made our wedding cake - wonderful. Only bad experience was discount cookies a few weeks ago - otherwise great.
customer for over 20 yrs – 20 yrs. & counting! My favorite is banana nut cake w/custard filling & whipped frosting. My kids 18&14 have never had a birthday without YDB cakes. I highly recommend this bakery. They are very expensive cakes but you do get what you pay for and I'd rather have people love my cake than to hear them say, "The party was great, but the cake sucked!" No one says that about my cakes. Thanks Yankee Doodle. I'll see you in 2 weeks for my birthday cake.
Wedding Cake Disaster – I, unfortunately, chose Yankee Doodle Bakery to make my wedding cake. Iasked for a cake that three layers with red, yellow and blue flowers painted onto the frosting (I took in a picture). They said that was no problem and they said they would bring the cake to my wedding site and set it up on the day of the wedding. They were pretty confident, so I didnt worry at all.
