Was greeted warmly. Room and location exactly what was expected. I stayed in the volunteer room and it was really clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. Breakfast was yummy. Cooked perfectly and my server Claire was a joy.
A bit difficult to drive down the driveway. The inn is well maintained and the people are friendly. The location by the sea is beautiful once you park.
We had a lovely stay at The Yankee Clipper, a charming bed and breakfast in Rockport, with lovely staff. The room had great views and was bright and airy. The balcony would have been lovely if it was not for the very loud kitchen extractor which made it impossible to sit on and enjoy the view. If I went again I would ask for a front facing room. Lovely old hotel with great views across the bay. We stayed in the Quartermasters House in a large, well-appointed room overlooking the sea. Large bed, two wardrobes, two chest of drawers, two chairs and a coffee table - plenty of space. Bathroom has a shower big enough for two and two sinks. Breakfast is in the main house, which you have to walk to via the road as there is a private house in between. Not too far tho. What a great little hotel with an awesome view. Mike and his staff were truly exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the breakfast was every morning.
