She for sure knows what she is talking about and has well knowledge in her field. However, I would not recommend her simply because she leaves her patients with no hope. I had a friend come in with major hope regarding her cancer. Yes I understand her situation is not easy but she left her with more stress. She basically told her that there is no hope for her and everything else is useless for her. During our appointment with Dr. Yanghee Woo, we left feeling deeply disappointed and distressed. Instead of feeling supported during an already difficult time, the patient felt even more hopeless after the consultation. The doctor's communication came across as rude, dismissive, and lacking compassion. Her manner and choice of words made the patient feel worse emotionally than before the appointment. I had the opportunity to receive care from Dr Woo, and I could not be happier. She is a GREAT Surgeon & is very caring person. I loved that she did not give me any smoke & mirrors analysis on what my Cancer was. She gave me the truth & gave me all the confidence I needed to believe in her & her ability. I think she has a fabulous bedside manner. Dr Woo would respond our message really early in the morning. Let me share another story. Dr Woo did a diagnostic laparoscopy for my mother, the result shows that my mother is not fit for surgery. And then almost two months later, my mother was admitted to the hospital. Dr Woo saw me in the hallway and recognized me.
