I had the opportunity to receive care from Dr Woo, and I could not be happier. She is a GREAT Surgeon & is very caring person. I loved that she did not give me any smoke & mirrors analysis on what my Cancer was. She gave me the truth & gave me all the confidence I needed to believe in her & her ability. I think she has a fabulous bedside manner. Dr Woo would respond our message really early in the morning. Let me share another story. Dr Woo did a diagnostic laparoscopy for my mother, the result shows that my mother is not fit for surgery. And then almost two months later, my mother was admitted to the hospital. Dr Woo saw me in the hallway and recognized me. I would 100% agree with the review of this doctor’s horrible bedside manners. Let me describe the first interaction between her and my father with stage four cancer. English is not my father‘s first language and also with the cancer he lost some of his filters. He asked the doctor during his first encounter what the bulges were on his chest. She responded with I don’t know. He replied back asking if she’s a doctor. She responded with if you don’t think I’m a doctor, we don’t need to see one another. I think her bedside manner is fabulous! She presents as confident knowledgeable, and caring. She listens to my concerns and follows up.

She may be a great surgeon, but has the worst bed side manners, empathy and compassion needed to treat cancer patients. We had the worst experience with her. Instead of helping us, she made it worst emotionally. If you love your family member, please go not take him/her with her. I hope Dr. Woo never have to go through we had to go because of her!
