Dr. Yang is an excellent Nephrologist. He is knowledgeable, caring and takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly. I’m very grateful for the care he provides my mom and definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a kidney specialist.
TERRIBLE bedside manner. Saw him in the hospital. He woke me up and instantly started quizzing me about random stuff. Then when he FINALLY told me who he was I said I had just woken up. He then proceeded to walk out and on the way out I yelled to him “Hey!” I was going to follow up with “ I want to finish these questions so I don’t have to do it later.” But before I could get any more words out he ran at me shouting, “YOU DON’T SAY HEY TO ME!”. Efficient and very quick results,could be a little bit more personable, but I totally understand when you're that busy.
Dr. Yang has been my father's nephrologist for over 10 years. During this time, my father has been hospitalized several times. On two occasions, my father's condition worsened, and Dr. Yang advocated for him to be transferred to UCSF to obtain the proper care he needed. Dr. Yang is knowledgeable, upfront, and caring, and we thank him for all that he continues to do for our father.
