RecommendedYANG CHOW WOK in North Liberty was absolutely fantastic today. We ordered carryout - Sweet & Sour Chicken, Szechuan Beef, Kung Pow Chicken (soooo delicious, and plenty of leftovers, a big plus for our frugal family). Their check-out counter is entirely surrounded by a plexiglass barrier, with only a small slit open on the counter through which you provide payment. All their employees are wearing masks and gloves. Outstanding effort by a small business. They are very deserving of your business!
Crab rangoon best in area. Family owners very good.
Good taste, good value, good portions! We eat here often on Sundays, after church, best deal in town!
Things have changed at Yang Chow, and not for the better. All entrees have less meat, the filling in the crab rangoon is all cream cheese, and the egg rolls are half as filled. We’ve been long-time patrons and have LOVED it in the past, but they can’t possibly think we wouldn’t notice the overnight change in value, ingredients, and service. Sadly, no longer a favorite.
good quantity for the price. had general POWs chicken and shrimp fried rice. good but not great.
Crab Ragoon is a little sour. I like Pei's Crab Ragoon in Cedar Rapids much, much better and nice sweet taste. Husband was also disappointed in the Coconut Shrimp.
This was the best pot stickers I have ever had, and the Kung Pao shrimp and chicken was so good! Great fried rice and I believe they have authentic Chinese jasmine tea. I think I've found the best Chinese restaurant in the corridor!
