My normal urologist was on vacation and unable to treat me, so Doctor Wolfson implanted stents. Other than a brief visit in the OR, I did not recieve a followup while in recovery nor a discharge from this doctor. When I attempted to followup and request an appointment with this doctor's office , I was told that I needed a referral from my general practicioner's office. This is clearly in violation of their service agreeement with United Health Care (UHC). I cannot recommend this physician.

ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC DR WOLFSON EXTREMLY THOROUGH IN HIS EXAM. EXPLAINS EVERYTHING IN DETAIL HIS PROFESSIONALISM WILL BE AN ASSET TO GESSLER CLINIC MR J SCHULEIN SR WINTER HAVEN FLA.

Dr. Wolkfon appears to be a fine urologist overall. Friendly, thorough. But he does not have sufficient expertise in the condition I was seeking treatment for, secondary hypogonadism. The treatment he was recommending was one that I had researched and learned was inferior but he kept advocating it and was not receptive to alternatives.

Because of Dr. Wolfson negligence my father died. He came to the office with the PET SCAN report reflecting suspected urinary bladder cancer and recommended cystoscopy. But Dr. Wolfson just dismissed my father and didn't do anything. In 3 month Cancer progressed and metastasized. My Dad was suffering for another 2 month, went through multiple procedures, but died anyway. I am writing this note in hope that it can help other people to make right decision and choose right doctor.

Dr. Wolfson is an excellent Doctor. He is very patient and his bedside manner is beyond reproach. He explains everything in laymen's terms and when possible actually does a drawing of affected organ. He discusses and thoroughly explains options if treatment is required. i have to also point out the Doctor's staff. They are pleasant and most cordial. I would not hesitate to recommend Doctor Wolfson to family members, friends or associates.
