I always try to support local businesses, but unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience today. I ordered a dish called Habachi NY strip steak based on the picture on the menu, which showed noodles, but when my food arrived, it came with fried rice instead. I brought it to the server attention, and he acknowledged that the food was different from the picture. I asked if the item could be removed from my bill, but they only offered a 10% discount. Cj Johnson has been a great impact to Yamato. Everytime I come here he serves me with kindness and loving and respect. He’s the reason I come here almost everyday. If Cj ever got fired I would NEVER come back. He deserves a raise and not just a 50 cent raise a 2 dollar raise.
Steak was awful, the fried rice is the worst I have had in my life!! And I asked for a soup and salad and didn't get it. Sorry sorry meal!!
Had a great meal at Yamato Steak House of Japan in Booneville! I tried the Spicy Tuna Roll and their popular Superman Roll, and both were excellent. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The Superman Roll definitely lived up to the hype! Great food, good service, and a solid spot for sushi in Booneville. I’ll definitely be back!
