Overrated food. Udon too oily. Sushi Ok
Has to be the best food around go here at least weekly. Absolutely amazing food and service! Highly recommend!
Best Japanese steakhouse we can find. We drove out to Hagerstown, Morgantown, Fredrick to try multiple Japanese steakhouses and none of them are as good as Yamato. Great food at a really good price for what you get. Yamato is one of our favorite places to eat out.
Even having pulled in with a mere half-hour until close, we weren't rushed by our server. The kids were indecisive but patience and kindness was extended towards them. When our order was placed, our food came out quickly from the kitchen. A lack of table-side prep was perfect considering our roadtripping tummies needed something healthy in time for everyone else to get home and for us to get back on the road.
