Junya has been my favorite hairdresser of my life! He is supremely talented, thoughtful and detailed. He is also kind, and pleasant to work with. My haircuts are always beautiful, but even more, they grow out and continue to look great for months because of the way he cuts. The studio itself is very cute, and in a great neighborhood.
Junya, the owner of the shop, is so wonderful. I just briefly told him what bothers me with my hair, didn’t show him any pic or anything, in 20 mins he completely transformed my hair to exactly what I was hoping for. I have visited this salon several times over the years, the results have been consistently great.

I had a good experience in Yama Salon and my haircut looked ok after blowout, but after a few washes I have realized that there are so many short layers in the front and my hair in the back is just too long without any layers - it looks like i have two haircuts going on and it is just ugly. I cannot go out without styling it but it is still not pretty when i do. The layers are so short and thick that the only way i can fix this is to get a short bob for my waist long hair.
